BONNAROO MUSIC AND ARTS FESTIVAL - MANCHESTER, TN

Of all the summer music festivals in the country, Bonnaroo has achieved the reputation of having one of the most diverse lineups, attracting some of the world's greatest artists. Originally known for being a "jam band" festival, Bonnaroo has evolved into a place for all types of music to come together. Housed on a beautiful 700-acre farm in central Tennessee between Nashville and Chattanooga, Bonnaroo offers a prime location and ample space for camping. Bonnaroo also offers RV-only parking areas in its campgrounds, making it easy to bring your Cruise America RV without distracting other campers. Highlights of this festival have included the Police, Tom Petty, Dave Matthews Band and Radiohead.

SUMMERFEST - MILWAUKEE, WI

Held for 11 days each year in downtown Milwaukee, Summerfest is one of the longest summer music festivals, giving you a better chance to see the bands you love - including big names like Ludacris, John Mayer and Bon Jovi. Plus, daily admission tickets can be purchased for $15 or less, so seeing the music won't cost you a fortune. While there are no on-site campgrounds, the Wisconsin State Fair Park is just minutes away from Summerfest.

LOLLAPALOOZA - CHICAGO, IL

Lollapalooza means "something outstanding or unusual," and that's exactly what this summer music festival strives to be. From 1991 to 1997, Lollapalooza was a touring festival, but today it takes place in downtown Chicago's Grant Park. Headliners have included such big names as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam and Daft Punk. Lollapalooza also offers vendors, artisans, and special features like Green Street, where you can learn how to stop global warming, and Kidzapalooza, where kids can experience their own activities and bands. Children 10 and under are free if accompanied by an adult, so grab the family and get ready for the most famous of all the summer music festivals!

ALL GOOD MUSIC FESTIVAL AND CAMP OUT - MASONTOWN, WV

Since 1996, All Good has been serving up three days of summertime music bliss in the hills of West Virginia. Past headliners have included rock and "jam band" favorites like Michael Franti & Spearhead, Les Claypool and Ween. Featuring a separate area just for RVs, camping is half the fun at All Good. Plus, this summer music festival recently expanded its family camping with a "Kids under 12 Camping Area."

10,000 LAKES FESTIVAL - DETROIT LAKES, MN

Since 2003, the 10,000 Lakes Festival (10KLF) has been held on the 600-acre Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, about four hours north of Minneapolis. Headliners include funk and folk bands like The String Cheese Incident. 10KLF also features permanent showers and restrooms with running water, which is more than you will find at other summer music festivals! With four different campgrounds and designated family camping areas, you're sure to find the right site for you and your friends and family.
