RV Camping at Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta®
ShareOne of the most spectacular events in the Southwest, the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta® is held each October in the heart of New Mexico. During the nine-day event, people from around the world will gather to watch in wonder as the skies fill with colorful balloon creations.
The balloon fiesta is one of the most popular events among our customers and quite a few vehicles in our RV rental fleet will be heading to New Mexico to take in the show. Here’s a look at where to stay once you get there.
Onsite
The Balloon Fiesta sets up five campsites for RV parking with “rally style” parking at each site. Amenities vary and costs range from $40-$250 per night. These sites fill up quickly, so you’ll want to book a year in advance – reservations open for the following year a few days after each festival. If you find yourself on the wait list, never fear! There are plenty of great campsites nearby and several park & ride options for getting to the fiesta.
American RV Resort

Both back-in and pull-through spaces are available and each site comes with a concrete patio and picnic table. If you go, ask about discounted Balloon Fiesta rates.
